This is the beautiful "Dango" wedding dress by Pronovias of Spain. The dress was worn *by me only* in June 2013. It was specialty dry-cleaned immediately after being worn, kept in it's original garment bag and is in like-new condition! *No discoloration* and *no damage* to the fabric or lace! The dress was a US size 4 but was taken in to fit to 32" bust, 27" waist. The length from top of bodice to front hem is 53".
The dress is A-Line and strapless with light and flowing overlapping tiers of sheer fabric.
Front of the dress / bust: across the top of the bust are overlapping horizontal pleats of sheer fabric, which add to the delicate look of this dress. There are 2 fabric hooks sewn into the interior of the bust incase you want to add straps.
Bodice: covered with stunning Pronovias designer lace that tapers down as you descend the dress. It has light boning to help keep the dress in place and a substantial 3" elastic band with hooks-and-eyes across the back (interior) of the bodice to keep the top of the dress in place, almost like a corset.
Back of the dress / hem: this dress has a stunning train. There are 24 buttons with an elastic loop for each one. Two loops were added to the train and 3 of the buttons were reinforced in order to bustle up the train for the reception (3 buttons gives flexibility on height of the bustle). There is a zipper underneath the buttons also to keep the dress securely closed. A narrow lace frill at the hem gives the finishing touch to the wide skirt that adds volume to the whole dress.
Additional info: there is a built-in net petticoat to add fullness the skirt of the dress. There is a lining under the petticoat so the net does not irritate the bride's legs. Upon original purchase, this dress did not come with a belt.
